To mark Veterans Day, Eastridge CEO Seth Stein sat down with his wife's grandfather,  Rex Saracino.  They discuss Rex's experience serving in the U.S. Army 3d Infantry Regiment, also known as "The Old Guard".

The Old Guard is the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army.  Formed in 1784, it is the Army's official ceremonial unit and escort to the president.

Rex shares his experience serving as an honor guard at Arlington National Cemetery as well as encounters with historical figures like President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Soviet-era Communist Party Secretary, Nikita Khrushchev, and serving in the inaugural parade for President John F. Kennedy.

He also shares how his military service influenced his professional career and personal life.  It is a touching and poignant conversation to mark Veterans Day, by remembering those who served and capturing how their experiences influenced their lives and the lives of every American.
