He is highly recognized in the industry and continually provides thought processes around the art of creating a high-performing center of excellence at various events.

To introduce himself further and explain his involvement at Eastridge, Nagesh has answered the following questions!

What excites you the most about Eastridge?

I am incredibly excited about the people, the organization's culture, and the leadership principles at Eastridge. There is great consistency across all levels. This is a very positive atmosphere and can take us to great heights.

What’s your superpower? How will you leverage that to make an impact at Eastridge?

My superpower is the ability to see the big picture, providing impactful partnerships with business leaders towards converting challenges into opportunities. I like to actively engage with stakeholders to achieve near-term results without compromising longer-term goals. We need to innovate and engineer constantly, and I firmly believe we already have a strong foundation that can be shaped the way we want to better serve our customers.

What inspired you to pursue a career in technology?

It is due to my passion for engineering and building software assets for organizations. I admire this field as it can help the organization achieve significant results in a short period of time and creates room for continuous improvements.

In your experience, what is the key to motivating, developing, and directing a good team?

It starts with open-ended communication about vision and being with the team through every aspect of their journey and delivering solutions in a fun, creative setting. I have seen great results by allowing team members to take ownership of focus areas they are passionate about and encouraging them to improve those areas.

What is a key takeaway from the last five years of your career?

Teamwork is where it all comes together. I am fortunate to have been part of multiple state-of-the-art, complex, and successful implementations in varying capacities. A constant finding through these experiences is how important it is for a leader to build a great team and to stay close to them at all times.

Who is someone you admire, and why?

At Eastridge, I have to say it is both Seth and Corrie. The interactions we had during the hiring process and what I gathered about team, organization culture, and leadership principles are very consistent with what I have observed since joining. I feel very fortunate to lead a great team that was developed by them and now be able to focus on learning the business aspects to come up to speed in a short time frame.

What was the last thing you “nerded out” on?

I am a big fan of building centers of excellence and constantly present ideas during speaking opportunities. Over the last few years, I have been working on a new concept: communities of excellence. These communities provide a platform for various stakeholders to take ideas and incrementally build out simple yet unique solutions. They serve as a space to talk about what’s going on in the marketplace and how we can collaborate on useful solutions. Creating communities between organizations within different industries.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I enjoy coaching. I am currently serving as an advisory board member at the University of Houston for their customer experience program.

How do you think (or hope) Eastridge will change in the next two years, and how do you see yourself as part of that change?

As CHRO Kendra Cruzalegi stated in her spotlight article, I also feel that sky's the limit for Eastridge in the next two years. We have great team members and technology foundations, as well as the unique advantage of being a leader in this domain. I do see myself as a solid IT partner to our business leaders and providing them with products and services that will enable them to multiply our growth by many folds.
