Month in Review: June 2016
Eastridge Workforce Solutions warmly welcomed the mid-year, ranking in the top 1% of staffing firms nationwide by Staffing Industry Analysts.
Here are some of the month’s highlights from our San Diego and Orange County offices.
San Diego, CA
With the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) serving as its charitable partner for 2016, Eastridge held two fundraisers in the month of June to benefit the wonderful organization.
On June 2nd, employees from Eastridge’s San Diego office gathered together for a night of baseball to raise money for the Challenges Athletes Foundation. Despite the close game, the night was a success in showing support and spending time with CAF representatives who were in attendance.
Employees had a second opportunity to support the Challenged Athletes Foundation. On June 17th, a Root Beer & Orangesicle Float Day was held at the Mission Valley office, with all proceeds donated to the foundation.
After these two fundraisers, employees are even more eager to learn about future opportunities to support the great cause.
Eastridge’s Administrative Division in Mission Valley welcomed two new additions to the team.
Nancy Bologna joined the Direct Hire Administrative team and Jensen Simon joined the Administrative Temp team.
Newport Beach, CA
Lina Savage and Kathy Lee attended CoreNET’s charity golf tournament at the Pelican Hill Golf Course on June 1st.
Sponsoring Hole 1, Eastridge joined 40 other companies from a variety of industries including Construction, Real Estate, and Architecture in benefit of Junior Achievement.
Eastridge’s Newport Beach office eagerly celebrated “Employee Appreciation Week”. Each day from June 6th to June 10th, employees were provided with emails and gifts from the leadership team.
Eastridge’s Newport Beach office welcomed two new Account Managers this month: Maria Sandoval and Natasha Sweitzer.
Alyson Boyd and Carolyn Plascencia from Eastridge’s Cerritos office attended Professionals In Human Resources Association’s (PIHRA) networking event at Knott’s Berry Farm on June 17th.
With 135 HR professionals in attendance, the “Wild West Comes Alive” event turned out to be a success with Eastridge gaining exposure as a vendor for the Greater LA and Orange County region.
Thanks Alyson and Carolyn for doing such a great job representing Eastridge!
